The Sidebar system takes the clutter and mess out of mixing drinks. After quickly putting together the spout pieces and connecting them to the pre-assembled supply pack, just install your spankin’ new Sidebar system in your home or patio bar, boat, limo, RV or just about anywhere you entertain. You can store your supply bottles underneath a counter or in any location up to 10 feet away. It’s perfect for areas with limited counter space and reduces mess from spillage and broken bottles. The fives pumps feature separate tubing to prevent intermixing of liquids. It is designed to work with any non-carbonated and pulp-free beverages. Perfect for use indoors or outdoors.
SIDEBAR® Assembly & Parts
Programmable Dispensing
Each of the lighted dispenser buttons come with labels for quick identification. The buttons are easily programmable to pour a pre-measured amount using SIDEBAR’s patented Programmable Portion Control system. It allows you to preset the button to dispense as little as 1.5 ounces per selection. (ex. The Vodka button can be set to stop dispensing after 1.5 oz, whicle the Scotch button will dispense as long as you hold it down) You can customize all 5 buttons to dispense any amount you want.

SIDEBAR® High Capacity Storage Rack
The SIDEBAR® High Capacity Storage Rack is the ideal way to store your five liquors. The included five 1 gallon containers fit neatly in the storage rack and hold just over two 1.75 liter liquor bottles with room to spare. The intake lines from the SIDEBAR drop right in to storage bottles.
The sturdy rack mounts to any solid surface as a neat, space-saving storage solution or it stays secure in mobile installations. Never run out of drinks when you use your SIDEBAR Dispenser with this handy storage rack and high capacity containers.
Polished Chrome Spout
Add a touch of class to your SIDEBAR® Electric Liquor & Beverage Dispenser with the handsome polished chrome spout. Swap out the standard black spout for this upgraded polished chrome spout, and give your SIDEBAR a new look. It attaches easy for simple installation. Suitable use indoors or out.
AC Adapter
This 110 Volt AC Adapter is for use with all SIDEBAR Beverage Dispenser Systems. Power supply comes pre-wired with the SIDEBAR 5 pin wire harness. This power supply delivers the required amperage and voltage for your SIDEBAR System and has an LED indicator confirming power is being delivered.

Now I love mine. It's fun, looks cool all lit up & guests are always impressed. It wasn't too difficult to install, but I am do-it-yourself kind of guy. I love that it can be set to pour specific amounts or free flowing. My only gripe is I would prefer that it come with more labels. Currently the gin button on mine dispenses everclear since I don't drink gin & it didn't come with a grain alcohol label. My concerns:
First, the base is made of plastic and I worry about how it will hold up over time. Second, to change the labels, you have to take the whole thing apart, which is very challenging. Since the base is plastic, I worry that taking it apart too much, it will eventually break. So hopefully I don’t have to change labels often. Third, the existing labels are hard to get off. I feared I would damage it, so I put my label on over top the existing one. The problem with that is since the labels are back-light, the existing label wording mixes with the one I put on and shows through the display and looks messy. They should make a way to change the labels from the top. I’m thinking of just sticking labels directly on top of the unit and forgo the backlit thing (since it will be on top of the light). Fourth, don’t buy labels through Sidebar. I paid $25 for labels that I could have made myself.

Two negatives, doesn't come with power adapter, for $500 it should, don't have to whack people the extra $35-$40 bucks for power. We checked with the manufacturer.
Yes, the pump unit can be installed in a freezer (the temperature will not alter the performance). Obviously liquor only, frozen beverage lines will not work.

can soda be ran through this system?BEST ANSWER: If I remember correctly the paperwork specifically states that carbonated beverages should not be run through the side bar or very syrupy liquids. Also the way the tubing runs to the source bottles you would not be able to retain the carbonation & your soda would likely go flat unless used very quickly. That being said my side bar is a very attractive feature of my personal home bar & one that is the envy of all my friends.- Reply

how many drinks can you make per minute? would this work for a busy bar ?BEST ANSWER: I bought this for a home bar so I have no Idea how many drinks this would make per minute. but I would not recommend this for a busy bar for other reasons. Unless you are able to find large containers to pour your liqueur into to use as sources I believe that the frequency with witch you will need to swap bottles & the potential damage that the system can sustain from trying to trying to use it when a source liquid is depleted make this less than Ideal (The system uses the liquid it pours as a lubricant & the buyer is specifically warned not to let the pump be run dry or it will become damaged) This means that you will need to change the bottles before they are empty & then condense the partially filled bottles. I worked at a busy bar when I was much younger & I think for that purpose this would be more trouble than its worth. That being said I love mine & it is the envy of all my friends.- Reply

What size hole should I cut for the spout?BEST ANSWER: I believe i cut a 1" hole through my granite. The only problem with this product is my buddies really think its cool and I seem to be the one who has to fill the jugs up when they empty them.- Reply

How do I prime the pumps?Can you please tell me how much the dispensing system pores as one ounce. UK uses 25ml as an ounce, America uses 30ml and Canada's ounce is 28.5ml. Can the dispensing amount be set?BEST ANSWER: On the lowest setting (knobs on pump system) the system pours almost exacly 1 ounce shot glass. You can turn knobs and adjust from there. Is there a seperate tube for each liquor all the way from the bottle to the dispenser? If not, how do you keep the liquors from mixing?BEST ANSWER: Yes. Each bottle has its own tube from bottle to end of dispenser. Each must be primed separately. Have had this dispenser for over a year and love it. The pressure is fantastic and it has never lost its prime. Very easy to install as well.- Reply

Can it be mounted on a door of a fridge? Can it only mount on the surface of a table?BEST ANSWER: Not without significant modification. I don't think the mounting hardware would be long enough to go through the door. The curve of the spout would be facing the fridge door. When you open the fridge door, it would pull all of your hoses with it. Your motor would be inside your fridge and needs to be plugged in. I don't think that would would work. It doesn't have to mount on a table. We have ours mounted to the quartz counter top of our wet bar.- Reply(1)

Can red and white wines be used three this system?BEST ANSWER: Any non-carbonated beverage will work with this but wine won't keep very long so it may not be worth putting it on a system like this. I only use hard liquor with mine because it keeps for a long time.- Reply

Does it matter which tube is attached to each type of liquor?BEST ANSWER: It does not. All of the tubes are the same, and you can switch/change the label stickers above the buttons to reflect the type of liquor. I've found it easier to just keep the types the same, so I don't have to switch the stickers every time I switch bottles. For example, line 1/the first button is always vodka... but I switch between brands. And I labeled the 5th spot as "mystery" so that I can put anything I want there without needing to change the labels up top!- Reply

How do you actually attach it to a counter top? Presume you need to place it permanently somewhere, and drill holes for the tubes to feed through?BEST ANSWER: There is a template provided with the pump for the 2 bigger holes and 2 small screw holes. If granite counter top I would get professional to drill because of close proximity of 2 larger holes. Fear of breaking. If regular malamute counter top be sure to tape around where you are going to drill to keep from breaking or cracking. Hope this helps.- Reply

Is the dispenser waterproof? Would like to install on my boat it would be covered but may have wet hands operating itBEST ANSWER: Yes, the Sidebar dispenser can be installed on a boat. Wet hands operating the dispenser shouldn't be an issue!
The owners manual does indicate a special precaution to avoid liquid from being spilled on the pump. See below:
Do not allow liquid to be spilled on the pump unit. Liquid entering the pump housing may damage the electronic circuitry and void the warranty. If liquid is accidentally spilled on the pump unit, carefully remove the fuse and allow the unit to completely dry. DO NOT USE FOR 48 HOURS. If the system is not used when wet, percentages are high that the unit has not been permanently damaged.- Reply(1)

3 of my lines seem to have lost prime. how do I reprime it. 2 of them work. it was on my boat when i bought it so I dont have an owners manual?BEST ANSWER: There should be a pump like you would have on a lotion or soap bottle somewhere. You need to attach the line from the liquor bottle to the end of the pump and using water force prime the line with water until it comes out the gooseneck. After putting the line back in the bottle, cycle the pump until the water is out of the system.- Reply

How hard is it to wire to the battery in an RV or boat?BEST ANSWER: Super easy. We tapped into the power wire from our stereo in a toy hauler. The 12volt power cord provided is pretty self explanatory. Find 12 volts and a ground, there ya go. Only improvement could be more screws to secure the unit in place for rough rides.

Can it count shot looking at using it in. my. bar also can I taptap into multiple bottles on one line?BEST ANSWER: You cannot tap into multiple bottles, but we do offer a high capacity storage rack with bottles that hold over 1 gallon of your beverage. The unit does not count shots and I must mention that Sidebar is not intended for commercial use.- Reply
