This authentic 1940s style Lewis ice bag is the ideal way to make crushed ice for your favorite cocktail, including juleps, Moscow mules, mojitos, swizzles and mists.
Just partially fill the Lewis bag with ice and use a mallet, muddler or something else heavy to make cocktail-ready crushed ice with the perfect consistency. The canvas material absorbs the excess water, which keeps it out of your drinks. You’ll be amazed at what one little canvas bag can do.

But now that I have it, I feel stupid that I put off buying it that long. Not only is it handy for crushing ice and pouring into glasses, it’s also useful for collecting cobble ice (the tiny cubes) from the tetchy trays. I’m going to add a little grommet on the tag so I can hang it on a nail.
