    This authentic Hand-Blown Glass Wine Porron is made in Spain, where the porron originated and was perfected!

    There, it is used for drinking games--like a fancy, European beer bong. The idea is to pour a thin stream of wine (or other beverage) into your mouth with your arm extended as far as possible without making a mess.

    In Spain, a porron is often filled with cava (Spanish sparkling wine), beer-lemonade shandy, or dry hard cider, but feel free to experiment with your favorite wine or beer. Because of its lighthearted, communal nature, porrons are a hit at parties, dinners with friends, and other lively celebrations.

    Because this particular porron is made by hand, there may be bubbles or imperfections in the glass, and the body and tip of each spout may differ slightly from one piece to another. But that is just part of this artisanal product's charm!

    I'm an employee at KegWorks and I bought one to bring on vacation and loved how much fun it was to pass it around and share wine with friends. Pouring took a few tries to get used to, but my roommate loved mine so much that I ended up buying her one as a gift.
    Since the tip is more narrow, I make sure I rinse it out soon after use, so there is no build up of wine in the spout, which makes it easier to clean.
